My Desk. Care for a story?
Hello! My name is Ben Smith. I’m American born, and live in a massive family of ten. I have been homeschooled most of my life, with just a spattering of the public school system here and there. I graduated from High school in 2012 and am now attending the local college to become an English major with a concentration on writing. I may minor in either Creative writing or journalism, but then again, the sketchbook has always had a certain place in my heart.
Here on my blog I will be posting things that I write, whether it be a small short-story, a poem, or a small entry of what I feel about something. I will have the comments available, so please keep everything civil and polite. Everyone has views, but this page will not be a place to force them down people’s throats. ( Only I can do that. 😛 JK!!)
Hopefully you’ll learn something about me here, and maybe I’ll earn a few followers that will be able to appreciate what I do! Any critique will be very welcome. Constructive criticism as well. I will not tolerate a, “This sucks” and leave, post. I post here not for hate, but for your enjoyment and my growth.

You sir have yourself another follower. I too was homeschooled — and also incidentally have my desk in the exact same position as you do—in the corner perpendicular to a window. 🙂
haha well then! Hopefully we can find more similarities between each other and our blogs! Being Homeschooled, we have to stick together! It’s us or them, and I’d rather go down with someone of mutual experience!
And really, it’s the perfect place for a desk!
